This short story is based on real events. Soon after Victor moves to Copenhagen he meets Anna. A charming Russian girl and they begin their relationship. After 3 months time, Anna disappears out of thin air! Victor tries everything he can to locate her without much luck. Anna is still missing and Victor gets a phone call. It's her father threatening to rip out his guts due to what has happened to Anna. Victor is confused and scared for his life.
Throughout the process of making our profile we collaborated very closely with our subject. During the interview we set up the podcast setting and recorded the whole interview.
From our subject we obtained screenshots of actual text messages which greatly support the story. Text messages were very personal and real names appeared in them. We felt that it is important to show them to reader, they make the story more believable and can evoke the same feelings in reader as subject had when he received them. We took the screenshots and photoshopped the real names out and replaced them with fictional names we created.
